Finding the right Celebrant for your Wedding Day is such an important part of your planning. These are the special differences that I bring to you.. Your Wedding Day is as important to me as it is to you. I genuinely care for my clients and do my best to ensure your ceremony will perfectly reflect your wishes. With four years experience in the Pilbara and Gascoyne regions of WA, I have local knowledge that will assist you with all aspects of your Wedding. Having planned my own ‘destination wedding’ whilst living in Karratha, I understand all there is to know about planning your special day from afar. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering, an elopement ceremony or a grand celebration, you will receive the same professional service and attention to detail that I extend to all my clients. I know all the ‘little things’ that help to make your day even better. With a professional background in corporate hospitality and event management I ensure a polished and articulate presentation to you and your guests. Living in Exmouth means I KNOW why YOU CHOSE to be married HERE! As a Celebrant based in beautiful Exmouth, I get to perform Summer Weddings pretty much all year round! With the Summer Wedding Season about to commence in Perth, I thought it was timely to remind our couples of a few things they may wish to consider if they are having their wedding outdoors, or at the beach. One of the first questions I ask my bride is “are you going to be late”? Remember that if you are 10-15 minutes late, then it is likely your guests have been sitting in the sun for half an hour. I find that very few couples consider shade for their guests. Market umbrellas look great, but they can be heavy and expensive. A cheaper option is to provide beach umbrellas – they look bright and festive and are easy to manage. Beach Weddings are beautiful and I have seen everything from “barefoot and boardies” to the full meringue! Whatever your style, ensure your invitations reflect the style of dress most suitable for your day. To avoid burnt feet on hot sand, it’s a good idea to have some ‘thongs’ available for the guests that may have missed the ‘fine print’. The provision of iced water is another thoughtful addition. To avoid dehydration and a little over indulgence, offer chilled water before your ceremony and save the alcohol until later. Summer can often mean mosquitoes and sand flies, so having insect repellant on hand can help to avoid discomfort. I always recommend having a Plan B. While the cyclone season doesn’t extend as far as Perth, one thing we can never control is the weather. It’s always a good idea to have an alternative, just in case. Most importantly, relax and enjoy the most beautiful day of your lives. |
